Honestly, we’re on a mission to immortalise our beloved cat, Cowboy (niuniu). It’s barely been a year since we adopted him and welcomed him into our lives, but neither of us can imagine life without him.

Like us, he lives to eat. It only seemed right that the first thing we name after him is related to one of his favourite things in the world, food. Obviously, it’s much harder to make cat food, so I’m going with the next best thing I’d love to share with all of you— my banana bread (b.bread, for short).

Funnily enough, I’m not big on eating bananas. But baked into a sweet treat? And with chocolate? I’m all for that. It’s one of my favourite desserts now, best eaten warm with a scoop of ice-cream on top. It’s one of those things that doesn’t scream gourmet, it’s just meant to be messy delicious.
